Office Support

Position: Office Support (8 Month Term Contract)
Status: Full-Time (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.)
Reports To: Executive Officer

Office Support purpose:
The role of Office Support is to provide front-line and administrative support including attending to members and visitors, dealing with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face.

Responsibilities:
Answer phones, transfer calls, take messages and/or provide general information to callers
Greet and assist members/public visiting the office in person
Maintain inventory, process supply orders and arrange courier delivery
Pick up and distribute incoming mail and deliver outgoing mail
Provide back-up support to the MLS® Services Coordinator
Assist with various membership events including professional development opportunities and training
Function as a team member providing backup where needed – Membership, Communications, Accounting
General administrative and clerical support as required
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of office experience
Advanced use of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in using internet based applications
Familiarity with non-profit membership associations and/or the real estate industry considered an asset
Current valid driver’s license and insurance
